the project
The "Tails of New York City" project highlights the special relationship between humans and their dogs, showcasing their daily lives and adventures in the areas of New York City that they call home. This project aims to capture the spirit of dog ownership in NYC, celebrating the vibrant neighborhoods and the deep connections between people and their pups.
Each selected participant will be photographed in their own neighborhood, and their story will be featured in a beautiful photo book and calendar. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local dog rescue organizations.
the sessions
Sessions will take place in a location that reflects each unique neighborhood. There will be a consultation to discuss clothing options and other details so the final images tell a compelling visual story about life with your dog in this amazing city.
All selected applicants are required to share on Instagram to engage their followers in the voting process. The participant who receives the most votes on social media will be featured in the project.
Participants will receive a complimentary session fee, one signed framed image from the session of the image selected for the book, and a signed copy of the book upon its printed completion. All other images from the session will be available for purchase with a 10% discount off our normal portrait prices listed on the product page.
